Who Can Suggest
If you're a Citizen, you can suggest new questions for the community. This option appears at the bottom of the Current Stories tab in a card labeled Suggest a Question.
How to Suggest a Question
- Scroll to the Suggest a Question card at the bottom of the Current Stories tab
- Type your question into the text field (minimum 10 characters)
- Click Suggest
Your suggestion is sent to staff for review. If they approve it, a draft question is created for them to schedule. You won't see your suggestion appear immediately -- staff will decide when to use it.
Tips for Good Suggestions
Think about questions that would spark interesting conversations and bring the community together. Open-ended questions that let people share personal experiences tend to work best. Avoid questions with simple yes/no answers or anything too narrow.
