Your Rank Comes from the Website

Your in-game rank on the Lighthouse Minecraft server is tied directly to your membership level on the website. When staff promotes you, your in-game rank updates automatically -- no commands needed.

Drifters and Stowaways don't have server access yet -- you'll need to be promoted to Traveler first.

Staff Ranks

If you're a staff member, your staff position is reflected in-game alongside your membership rank. This helps other players know who to turn to for help and gives you the permissions needed for staff duties.

Staff in-game ranks are based on both your department and your staff rank:

• Officers and above show their department name in-game (for example, an Officer in the Engineering department appears as engineer).
• Crew Members and Jr Crew Members show their department with a _crew suffix (for example, a Crew Member in Engineering appears as engineer_crew).

Your in-game staff rank updates automatically when your staff position changes -- you don't need to do anything.

Promotions

Promotions are handled by staff on the website and your in-game rank syncs automatically. For full details on how each level works and what it unlocks, see the Membership Levels page.
