To link your Discord account, you'll need to be at least a Stowaway on the Lighthouse website (meaning you've accepted the community rules). You'll also need to be logged in to Discord in your browser or have the Discord app ready to go.
If your account is restricted or a parent has disabled Discord access, you won't see the option to link. Check with your parent or open a support ticket if you think something isn't right.
That's it! The system automatically connects your accounts and assigns you the appropriate Discord roles.
You'll see a Join Server button on the Discord Account settings page. You can do this before or after you link your Discord account to the website. Click it to open the Lighthouse Discord server invite. Once you accept the invite in Discord, the website detects that you've joined and syncs your roles automatically.
If your roles don't appear right away, give it a moment -- the page checks for your server membership after a few seconds and syncs everything up.
You can link up to 1 Discord account to your Lighthouse profile. If you need to switch to a different Discord account, you'll need to unlink your current one first.
If you need to disconnect your Discord account:
When you unlink, all of your Lighthouse-managed Discord roles are removed automatically. Your Discord account itself isn't affected -- you just won't have the Lighthouse roles anymore.
Make sure you've accepted the community rules and are at least a Stowaway. If you're under 17, check that your parent hasn't disabled Discord access in the Parent Portal.
Try clearing your browser cookies for Discord and attempting the link again. Make sure you're logged in to the correct Discord account before clicking Authorize.
Go to Settings > Discord Account and wait a few seconds -- the page automatically checks and syncs your roles. If it still doesn't work, open a support ticket and staff can manually sync your roles.
