The behavioral expectations for all Lighthouse community members.
Last updated: March 26, 2026
Lighthouse is a faith-based Minecraft community built on the values of respect, integrity, and genuine care for one another. As a Christian community, we aim to reflect Christ in how we speak, act, and treat one another — with truth, humility, and grace.
This Code of Conduct defines the spirit and standard behind our Rules. While the Rules outline specific enforceable boundaries, this document explains the kind of community we are building and the behavior expected from all members.
All members are expected to uphold these standards, regardless of rank, membership duration, or relationship with staff.
All members are expected to communicate with courtesy and good faith. This means:
The following are not permitted under any circumstances:
On the Minecraft server and in all community spaces:
Lighthouse is a family-friendly community. Content shared in any community space (server chat, Discord, the website) must meet the following standards:
Some topics, while important, are not appropriate for general community spaces due to the presence of children.
These may include discussions related to personal struggles, sexual topics, mental health, or other mature subjects. These conversations are only appropriate when handled with care, maturity, and a clear purpose such as seeking help, guidance, or discipleship.
Lighthouse provides designated adult-only spaces for these types of discussions. Access to these areas is restricted and must be approved by staff.
Sensitive topics must not be discussed in public or general-access channels under any circumstances.
If you believe you need access to these spaces, please contact a staff member.
Staff are responsible for maintaining the safety and integrity of the community. They may take action on behavior that undermines the spirit of Lighthouse — even if it is not explicitly listed in the Rules or this document.
Violations of this Code of Conduct are handled by the Quartermaster and Command departments. Depending on severity and history, consequences may include:
